Ulka serves as Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity National Title’s New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. Her focus is on commercial transactions in New York, both in the city and upstate, as well as handling New York title work for fellow NCS offices around the country. Previously, at Jacksonville headquarters, Ulka served as a senior claims counsel for significant claims upon Fidelity, Chicago, Commonwealth, and other brands in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. In that role, she interfaced with state and underwriting counsel involved in the policies and vestings at issue, as well as in-house and outside litigation counsel to advance the strategic litigation for curative endeavors.

Ulka has a B.A. in journalism (Newhouse School) and fine arts with honors from Syracuse University. She earned her J.D. from the University of Oregon. Ulka is a lifelong aficionado of the arts and enjoys drawing and painting. In recent years, she has been helping her daughter develop as a pre-professional dancer concentrating in ballet.
