Erika N. Kuver is Vice President and Senior Counsel for Fidelity National Title's New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She joined the New York NCS in March 2016, coming directly from First Nationwide Title (FNTA) where she oversaw and underwrote both New York and National commercial real estate transactions.

Erika began her legal career as a real estate attorney with the New York based law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, with her primary focus in in the energy and project finance sector. As counsel at Milbank, she represented lenders and borrowers on a wide range of ground breaking real estate development projects and leveraged portfolio loans including representing lenders in the negotiation and structuring of innovative projects with private, governmental and quasi-governmental entities to solve continuing and growing energy demands.

In her capacity as Senior Counsel at Fidelity, Erika will apply her extensive expertise in a variety of areas of commercial real estate including energy, government, multi-family, REITs, construction, office, industrial, and retail. Her power and energy experience includes insuring complex ownership and lending structures including, but not limited to, local and state governments, industrial development agency projects, construction loans, FERC regulated projects, renewable energy projects and multi-state energy projects.

I am thrilled to be a part of the New York NCS team of underwriters whose commercial real estate knowledge and expertise on the local and national levels are unsurpassed in the industry.

Erika received her J.D. from Fordham Law School, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University where she double majored in History and Political Science.

In addition to her work at both Milbank and FNTA Erika has volunteered her services for several not-for-profit organizations in Manhattan including the Regional Plan Association of New York, the Urban Justice Center, and Volunteer Services for the Elderly. She holds two federal patents for an infant teething device, is a third degree black belt in Ryu-Renshi Dan Karate and a first degree black belt in Goshindo Jujitsu. Erika currently volunteers with the Mohican District, Hawthorne Cub Scout pack as a den leader, and with the local Mt. Pleasant NY AYSO Soccer league where she coaches soccer.
